Federal Hotels and Resorts

BBW Telecom in 2002 was approached by Federal Hotels and Resorts (Federal Hotels) with a serious communication problem.  The problem was that Federal Hotels were an extremely heavy user of the internet and had a requirement for a high speed internet over and above what an ADSL type domestic product could provide.

BBW Telecom negotiated with Federal Hotels and designed and implemented a wireless solution covering the Wrest Point Hotel Casino in Hobart which was the first Casino in Australia and also the Country Club Hotel in Launceston. Both of the wireless services delivered greater than 3 MBIT in size.  Hobart is a 54MBIT wireless link and Launceston is a 4 MBIT wireless link.

BBW Telecom has had great success with Federal Hotels in operating these services in a reliable and cost effective manner.   BBW Telecom services  have operated without any faults since the day they were installed.
